We Ran Like the Wind! Fun Run 2025 Thanks

What an amazing day we had at the Fun Run on Saturday!  Despite the rain and wind challenges, all our runners did an excellent job.  Mrs. Harvey's and Mr. Gaita's inflatable race was the perfect way to build anticipation for the big event (and who can believe that finish)!  

Our pawsome students really gave it their all and helped raise money for our school! 

Families, thank you for coming through strong for our community! Whether you registered, pledged, got friends and family to pledge, and/or attended the event, it all helped us reach our goal! We had 71% of students registered and raised over $17,000 in funds to purchase new flexible seating options throughout Loring and support PTO programming next year.

Thank you to Crystal Pike for your event expertise, organizing the FUN t-shirts, and helping organize the event; Melissa Perla for organizing the ice cream truck and helping out at the event; Heather Larson, Tanvi Devimane, Emily Greenstein, Steph Papa, Kelly Sugrue, Zach Perla, Aarush Devimane, and Cameron Firth for volunteering at the prize tables and helping with set up/clean up. Also a big thank you to Sara Astman and Rebecca Firth for handling the Loring Gear table. Lastly, thank you to Mrs. Harvey & Mr. Gaita for gearing up to kick off our race with one of their own, the Loring teachers and staff for promoting excitement amongst the kids, and our really helpful custodian for the day, Ryan Flynn.   We have a brand new Fun Run Committee stepping up and will be in touch soon with the date for Fun Run 2026!!
