Code Ninjas: After-School Program

The Code Ninjas After-School Program will be back Loring School on Fridays this year. Students can join our Code Senseis on epic, hands-on STEM adventures—right after dismissal. This program, designed by Victor Lee, owner of Code Ninjas Sudbury, in partnership with SED Director Mari Weldon and Loring Principal Sara Harvey brings the most in-demand after-school STEM topics directly to our Loring community.

Our program is open to all Loring students in grades K–5. Classes are run in separate groups for different ages (perfect for siblings!) and cover three exciting areas:

K–2: Scratch
Grades 3–5: Roblox/Minecraft game development

The Sudbury Youth Volleyball Program is running for 6 weeks starting September 22nd on Mondays or Wednesdays from 4-5pm. It is a fun, beginner to advanced program to learn and develop foundational skills in a station and game-based setting.

This year, the program will take place at a new location: 110 Andrew Ave, Wayland Town Center.

This fall for the 15th year, Sudbury Flag Football League will be running an organized flag football program in Sudbury. This is a non-contact contact version of football where young players can develop their passing, catching and defending skills.

The SFFL Is for BOTH Boys & Girls. The games will be played by the Official National Flag Football rules. Each player who is placed on a team will receive an NFL replica jersey with NFL team colors with matching shorts and a flag belt and flags.

Registration for Sudbury Spring Flag Football League is open and we currently accepting applications for its Fall 2025 Spring league for children who are currently grades K through 11.

Games will be played on Sundays. There will be 8 regular season games plus play-off games. The majority of games will be played on the field turf.

We have a limited number of spots available. The first proposed date of the league is Sunday 9/7. The drop-dead date for registration is Friday 9/5.

Please do not wait till the last minute because once we hit capacity, we will NOT be able to add any new players. Unfortunately, last year we had to turn some players away.
