A PAWESOME Shout Out to Cara Maxwell, Susan Smith and their phenomenal auction team – Tanya Broadbent, Michelle Lombardi, Katey DeTraglia, Michelle Titus, Marisa Lutz, Janet Rapaport, Krista Riley, Linda Roth, Kathy Kinzfogl, Lisa Armour, Maura Carty, Anna Lee, Lotte Diomede, Caty Kessler, Rick Morris, Betsy Whipple, Anna Lambert, Gloria Avilia, Beth Maier, Millie Kateman, Amy Adolfsson, Christina Granahan, Karen Romm, Robin Cavanaugh, Marisa Peek, Jenny Marilla, Sharon Harrison, Julianne Woo, Anne Silva, Denise Dunne-Fushi, Dawn Ianelli, Kathie Stayton, Leslie Hamilton, Jan Acquaviva – for organizing another successful Loring auction at Charter Oak Country Club. Nearly 240 people attended the Auction, which raised more than $50,000!, all of which will go directly to our children's classrooms, providing Loring students with opportunities that they wouldn't ordinarily have, ranging from technology to academic and enrichment programs. A heartfelt thanks to all of you, our equally PAWESOME parents, for your generous bidding and other contributions. And it wouldn't be the same without all you crazy kids on the dance floor. People really seemed to let loose and have a great time! We saw some great dance moves~next year we need to remember the camera! Special Thanks to our PAWESOME leaders, Jeff Dees and Stephen Wiltshire, as well as the entire Loring Staff that helped out with this event.

All the percentages are in and the winner is.... Kindergarten with 76% participation! Congrats to Karen Romm for getting so many parents to contribute. We can't wait to see the Ks trying to aim water balloons at each other and at Mr. Dees and Mr. Wiltshire! Thank you all the grade-wide basket coordinators for working so hard with parents to donate and for creating amazing baskets! Here are the results: K - 76%, 1st- 63%, 2nd- 59%, 3rd- 70%, 4th- 66%, 5th- 66%.
