Have just one hour to make a difference for families in need? We could use your help! One Friday each month volunteers are needed to sort and deliver Loring’s collection of food pantry donations. Come one, some, or all collection days – your time will be appreciated.
Adult volunteers are needed, along with students from one fourth or fifth grade classroom, to sort the collection in the school dining room at 9:20 a.m. and continue until every donation is packed – about an hour.
Volunteer drivers are needed at 12:45 p.m. to drive the boxed donations from Loring to the Sudbury Food Pantry (Our Lady of Fatima on Concord Rd.) and to return empty boxes to Loring for the next collection. This also takes about an hour.
If you are interested in volunteering on a collection day – one, some, or all – please contact Laura Porter.
